AmpliTube Fender

Fender , whats not to like ?

Pretty Sweet

Thisll pretty much replace my existing rig for practices... only one gripe though: where are the retina graphics?! Change that and Ill give it a 5/5.

Exceeded expectation

Really nice representation of Fenders classic amplifiers. Stomp box features are very usable and easy to tweak for the tones you want. For harder rock or metal, the original Amplitube works best. Well worth getting the full edition.

The Fender Sound Rocks.....

The Fender Sound Rocks..... I cant wait for Jimmys sound to make it to the iRig...

Amazing app

Iv used it for a while now and it really sounds great. You guys have hit the nail on the head with the classic fender sound. The only thing I dont like is that you cant purchase all the other effects like in the full app but I guess thats my fault for not reading. Great app

Hell yea

Well... You could either spend between 5 and 6 hundred bones for recording gear OR just spend 14.99 plus 9.99 for the full version of this app plus the four track recorder(which can be more like a 16 track recorder because of the ability to bounce up to 4 tracks into one). Its a no brainer if you ask me! Effects are great, plus you can record acoustic guitar with the option of using the mic in the phone. I did this with my iPhone 4 and made a professional sounding song which probably had alot to do with the noise canceling mic it has. But in any case, this is GREAT for recording! You can even email the songs you record or import them in other ways even if they arent mastered yet (which this app also does)! The only thing I can think of that would improve this app is a drum beat maker. But if you want to record stuff on your own in your goddamn iPhone, GET THIS APP!!!

Fender tone

This has been my first ever comment on anything. It has way over $5,000 of fender equipment in this app and way worth it for $15. I got the irig yesterday at bestbuy and got home to play and man it is so unbelievable. I was going to buy a $1400 reissue 65 fender twin reverb amp from Sam ash. I didnt know this amp had a twin reverb amp already on it and a deluxe reverb amp. This app saved me over $2500. It is so fun to use and very simple. Really nicely captures that beautiful fender tone. Though I am playing the sound out of a 10 watt sp 10 fender beginners amp so maybe thats why it sounds so amazing. I think anyone that doesnt agree with me or doesnt rate this app 5 stars should research the amps and effects that are used here, so you know how much money you saved. Thanks for reading my review and keep on rocking.

Fantastic Sounds

This is a really great app, hands down. Im a fender guy and own a few fender amps and guitars and these sounds are on point. I do think they should have included the whole 4-track add-on and mastering effects with the app itself. Its already 15 bucks. That sort of let me down when I found out I had to add that on for 10 extra bones. All in all its a great app though.

A solid, great app.

Despite an occasional clueless whiner claiming the app wont work 2 secs telling you not to buy it, Im here to tell you it DOES work fine. It sounds great, works even with a Peavey Amplink, and is well worth the price. Buy this and Peaveys Ampkit and youve got a huge variety of amps emulated plus a nice array of stompboxes. The user controls are easy to use and tweak to get your sound. This sounds so good, I am going to get the 4 track recorder and mixer add-on to complete the setup. Highly recommendable in my opinion, and Im a professional musician.

Please add dock connecter OUT support!

The tones available from this app are incredible. But how awesome would it be for the developers to allow an iPod/iPhone speaker dock to output the audio of what you are playing on the guitar? A truly portable and revolutionary guitar rig. I know my B&W Zeppelin Mini can output from other apps like Pandora...but is just waiting to be utilized like a killer guitar speaker if the IK Multimedia developers include it! Think about it my friends! Please!

FYI - May need OS update

Not mentioned in description but you need to have os that above 4.0. I have 2nd gen iPod itouch. It took email to tech support and a few hours to update OS but then app worked fine.

Amplitube Did Not work on my new itouch 3G

I purchased the $19.99 version and the iRug and could not get it to work. So I returned the iRug. I would also like to get a refund for the Ampitube.

What do some expect?

For $15 you get a tool that allows you to use your iPhone to practice between sets, quickly record ideas, use iTunes to work out parts of songs ( ACC support could be better) and with iRig ( the extra cost ) carry only an extra part conveniently in your pocket. So for $65 ( $55 without 4track. I paid $40 for a headphone amp ) I dont have to carry around a headphone amp with extra cable for iPod or iPhone when I already have my cable with my guitar. I now have 4 friends that say me using it and got one for themselves.

Awesome

.

Decent tones, not so decent latency.

Im not a great guitar player, but even I notice the latency with this app. If you want to work on your chops, just play your guitar, forget about little gimmicks like this. Further, Ive owen a lot of the amps this thing claims to emulate. Its not very close. My suggestion: get a SansAmp. If you must play through your iPhone, not the worst choice you could make.

Musicians first? Nah...

Incompatible with Apogees Jam. Ridiculous.

Freaking GREAT!!!

Every amp Ive ever wanted at my finger tips! So well worth the price. LOVE IT!!!

Distortion

Im using the Fender amplitube with the IRig for bass... Its useless for me ... So distorted that its obnoxious ...I own over 30 basses so its not my guitars...the free fender app works better ..all the tones sounds like diffrent versions of fuzz....

good app

I think its good and its cheaper than AmpliTube. if you buy AmpliTube youll spend a lot of money so I recomment this app.

Barely better than the free version.

Not many more features than the free version. You get a couple pedals and a few more amps. No four track, mixer, none of the fun things. Not worth the $5 IMHO. I am a gigging musician and guitarist of 25+ years for what its worth.
